CHAPTER 6
"Goodmorning Ma!"-Devon. Her mom was reading the daily newspaper when she noticed something. "Oh My Gosh!!! Jusko Ma!! Nakita nyo na ba itong nasa showbiz column? Nasa harap ang picture namin ni Sam!"-Devon. "Naku anak! ito na yung sinasabi ko sayo. Hindi ako nagkulang ng babala sa iyo ha."-Devon's mom. As she reads the headline.
"Sam Concepcion caught on a date with an anonymous girl. "Then her phone started ringging...
"Hello?"-Devon. "Devon! I don't know if you read newspapers, but please before you get mad at me. I'll try to fix this ok. I know you warned me about this. But please let me fix it."-Sam. "Naku Samuel!!! Dapat lang nananahimik ako dito ah! Ayaw ko ng gulo, ayaw ko din ng intriga. Baka mamaya dyan dagsain ako ng mga usisera dito sa bahay namin."-Devon. "My manager just called me and since I have an upcoming concert, The Buzz decided they wanted to have a live interview with me for promotion purposes and I promise you aayusin ko talaga ito ok.Sana lang hindi yun ang first and last dinner natin together. Sige I'll let you go na din tinatawag na ako for breakfast eh.Bye!"-Sam.
SUNDAY...
"Bessie, kinakabahan ako!"-Devon. "Bakit naman?Relax lang bessie, I'm sure Sam will clear things out sa public. Di ka nun papabayaan.And infairness ha, mukhang tumalab ang strategy tactic mo ha! It really seems like na gusto ka nya."-Ann. "If that's your way to make me feel better, naku sis 'wag ngayon at pramis kinakabahan talaga ako. Hindi ko alam kung bakit."-Devon.
While Sam was waiting on backstage...."Sam, are you ready for your interview?I just wanna warn you ha, they will ask you about the anonymous girl from the article. Kung ayaw mong magkagulo, I'm telling you now, I deny mo kung ano man ang status ninyo. Just tell the public that you're being nice to a fan."-Sam's manager. Then Sam just gave his manager a look and noded. "Ayan na bessie, si Sam na ang susunod!"-Ann. "Sam, are you ready? you're up next."-Sam's manager.
Boy Abunda will be interviewing him, knowing his knowledge about things, Sam couln't help but think..."Bakit naman ako magsisinungaling about what happened? I mean it's really up to the public kung papaano nila tatanggapin yun. I mean, if I will invite her again, I think its better to be honest nalang." "Good afternoon again mga kapamilya, our next guest is a very talented young man! He came along way from Little Big Super Star now he will be having his first major solo concert. Please welcome Sam Concepcion!!! Hello Sam!"-TIto Boy "Good Afternoon po sa lahat!"-Sam. "I just can't help but noticed, you seemed to be a bit nervous. Why?"-Tito Boy. "Wala naman po, medyo kinakabahan lang talaga ko. I don't know why din po."-Sam . "Ok hindi na ako magpapaligoy ligoy pa Sam, I want to ask you this kasi these past few days naglabasan sa mga iba't ibang pahayagan at napapagusapan sa iba't ibang lugar. I want to ask you, Sino ba talaga yung babaeng kasama mo sa picture? I mean you two seemed to be going on some kind of date. Kasi medyo pormal ang attire ninyong dalawa. I mean who is she? Is she a friend?girlfriend?are you courting her?sino sya sa buhay ni Sam Concepcion?"-Tito Boy.
While Devon took a deep breathe as she awaits for Sam to answer the question.Sam on the other hand just knew what to say. "Well, for now Tito Boy, she is a friend of mine. umm...I just actually met her a few weeks ago. And it's kind of funny actually on how she and I met. I went on a pizza place to eat sana , then she was on the line infront of me waiting also. Then she just happened to stare at me and I just joked around her I told her might as well take a picture. And I guess I really got her mad at that time so she left the place. Then same day din, while I was trying to call someone on my phone and it just so happened that she was just walking out from this botique na pinanggalingan nya, I bumped into her and she dropped her purse kasi nun at that time so I helped her without me knowing na I accidentally put my phone inside her purse."Sam. "Oh wow!! very interesting story Sam. But let me go back sa unang sinabi mo na "For now she's your friend" gusto ko lang na klaruhin mo sa lahat, does this mean you're courting her?-Tito Boy.
Before Sam answered the question, Devon couldn't help but scream. In a way she's happy that he didn't deny what happened that day. "Well siguro tito boy, it's safe to say na I'm trying to get to know her more. I really find her interesting kasi dahil she's not like any other girls na pagmaynakitang artista biglang sisigaw, titili. But when I met this girl, she was actually snobish at me. Talagang may pagkamataray at suplada. And for me, that's really something different and talagang I find interesting."-Sam. "So you're not courting her yet? May balak ka ba Sam?-Tito Boy. "Well if she lets me why not."-Sam. "If you don't mind me asking, What's her name again?"-Tito boy. "Naku tito boy! Wag nalang po baka ako ang masaktan pagsinabi ko name nya publicly."-Sam. "We do respect her privacy, but I'm sure nanunuod sya ngayon, what would you like to tell her."-Tito Boy.
"Umm...Hi! sorry for the mess I've caused! I promise I'll make it up to you. Kasi tito boy when I asked her talagang ayaw nyang pumayag na sumama sa dinner, kasi ayaw daw nyang maintriga. But since I begged her so pumayag naman sya. So yun, sorry again! And I promise you talaga, I'll make it up to you! Usap nalang tayo mamaya."-Sam. The crowd went wild! The fans were screaming! "Thank you again Sam and goodluck sa inyong dalawa ng lucky girl na yan, but before we end the interview since may upcoming concert ka, will she be watching it?"-Tito Boy. "Actually Tito Boy, I was going to surprise her sana, but since you asked. I was going to ask her to accompany me sa stage when I sing a song sana. But I still have yet to find out kung papayag sya."-Sam. Then the interview ended after Sam invited everyone to watch his upcoming concert.
